"FCA is important to me because it is a time during the week at school when everyone, believers or not, comes together to learn about God. Being able to worship with my friends has been such a blessing. Also, telling peers my testimony and hearing some of theirs is so special. My school has FCA every Wednesday at 7:00 a.m., which seems super early for High School kids, but through invitations, we have had approximately fifty kids every week of school. There is something exceptional about that, especially for our small school. FCA is extremely important to me because I can show others what Christ has done for me and lead younger athletes who look up to me. It is my time during the week that I do not have to worry or stress about school or sports and can concentrate on Christ Jesus. It is my reminder that he should be my focus, and no matter what is going on in my life, I do not have to worry because I am a child of God."
