John Rozell

Hulbert High School

Coach: Baseball

"I was raised in church, made a profession of faith when I was nine years old at Camp Robertson in Welling, Oklahoma. I’ve always been in church but lived a sinful life of alcohol dependency and some drugs. My wife and I were married in 2003 and the Holy Spirit began to deal with me and convict me and show me that although I had religion, I did not truly have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, I was simply playing church. I was miraculously saved in March 2004 at Grand Lake Baptist assembly in Grove, Oklahoma. I began teaching Sunday school classes shortly thereafter and in 2008 the Holy Spirit called me to preach. I have been preaching the gospel whenever possible, and took my first pastorate  14 years ago. The Bible teaches that we are to be ministers of the gospel “as we go” in our daily lives. I’m convinced that my greatest mission field is my home where we raise our children. After that, the school where I teach and the baseball field where I coach are two great and mighty mission fields God has placed me in."
