One Heart At A Time

One Heart At A Time

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been going strong for more than 60 years.  Over the years we have seen faces change, sports change, and the world change. But ONE thing that hasn't changed is the Vision of FCA.

FCA Vision:  "to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes."

Northeast Oklahoma Area Representative Brennan Segraves explains his experience of using the influence of a college athlete to impact the community of Oklahoma Union for Jesus Christ.

Rusty and Carrie Sellers contacted me about hosting a rally for their Junior High and High School FCA.  I asked Jake Sizelove, a University of Tulsa linebacker, to share his testimony.  We were welcomed by coaches, 50-60 kids, and their FCA President.  After a lot of food and fun games, Jake spoke about how his life with Christ wasn't a spring, but a marathon.  As I sat there listening, I hadn't planned on sharing anything, but the Holy Spirit told me to give an invitation.  As soon as Jake was finished, I presented the Gospel and asked for any person that asked Jesus into their lives to find me afterwards.  After the meeting was over a girl named Jackie approached me and told me that she had made Jesus Lord of her Life."

"Where there is no vision, the people perish." Proverbs 29:18

After 60 years, we are still seeing the vision of FCA impact lives for Jesus Christ through the influence of Coaches and Athletes....One heart at a time.
